Ohey, just me doing more leets again. Derp.
Had some good fun with the Grunt and doing the Arbiter's helmet, mostly cause I had to use some imagination n shit for both of em. The new grunt design is pretty cool, me thinks, and trying to draw a Grunty face without a mask, and with an actual closed mouth (cause I would assume they should be able to close their mouths), was something kinda new. Oh, and tried to make him look all serious n shit.
Yes, trying to make an Unggoy serious. :I Talk about me missing the point. (and I just learned today that Unggoy is actually Tagalog for monkey... derp)
On a similar note, I just love that Unggoy merchants actually trade human audio transmissions of soap operas and comedies through the black market. :3 Would love to watch Seinfeld with an Unggoy friend. You can read up more grunty awesomeness on the Halo Nation wiki thingy here, for those interested in how I know this stuff: [link] (then again if you's a Halo fan already you prolly already know this too, so derp once more).
As for making the Arbiter's helmet, I just sorta tried to mesh the Halo 3 Thel Vadam arbiter design with that of the Halo Wars Ripa 'Moramee arbiter and then change the face dynamic around so that it matches with the more flat-faced sangheili design that Halo 4 goes with. Up until Halo reach, the Sangheili faces always looked so weird when looked at from the front, like their eyes look off to the sides; that tends to be the facial build of herbivores or prey-oriented animals, since they need sight on all side in order to see things coming towards them. Not too fitting for a Feudal-theocratic-soldier culture as is in accordance with the Sangheili, if ya know what I mean. :I
But anyways, just glad to be sketching stuff again. ^w^

I love the way the sketching is done, especially for the Arbiter
